Promote the national culture
Cultural heritage is the quintessence and most typical of each nation's cultural identity and is passed down through many generations. Recognizing the importance of protecting and promoting the value of national cultural heritage, on November 23, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh issued a decree on preserving antiques and relics throughout the country. Since 2005, Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) has truly become a traditional day to light the fire of national cultural heritage in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, and at the same time being a proof about the vitality and pervasiveness of cultural heritage in the integration flow of the country's culture.
