From 15th september, additional information “place of birth” to the new passport

The Ministry of Public Security has sent an official dispatch requesting Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to have the function of granting Vietnamese passports to Vietnamese citizens to print the citizen's information "Place of birth" in the note section of the passport.
At the same time, the Ministry of Public Security will report to the Government and to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly to issue a Resolution on putting the "Place of birth" in the information field in the types of passports issued by Vietnam to Vietnamese citizens.
