Thai Nguyen ranks 10th in the country in attracting FDI capital

Regarding attracting FDI capital, in the first 5 months of 2024, the whole province had 9 newly granted projects with a total registered capital of 478.7 million USD, 5 projects increased capital with a registered capital of 19.3 million USD. The above results have put Thai Nguyen ranked 10th out of 63 provinces and cities in the country in attracting FDI capital. Accumulated to date, the province has 218 valid FDI projects with a total registered capital of 11.2 billion USD. Regarding attracting domestic investment outside the budget, in the first 5 months of 2024, the entire province issued a decision on investment policies and approved investors for 6 projects with a total capital of 1,866 billion VND; issued investor approval decisions for 6 projects with a total capital of 3,489 billion VND; issued an investment registration certificate for 1 project with a capital of 3,985.5 billion VND. Accumulated to date, the total number of valid non-State budget projects using domestic investment capital is 886 projects with registered capital of 184,946 billion VND.
